ESPN.com: NBA - One big brick: Spurs-Nets ratings lowest ever

i don't hate either the spurs or the nets. but the spurs are single handedly the most boring championship team EVER. i am not saying this as a laker fan or a spurs hater. i mean, how can you hate the spurs? no one hates the spurs. they don't offend anyone. but mediocrity rarely ever does. (i am imagining andy steaming right now. hahaha)

but seriously, the spurs and the nets may have killed basketball in terms of entertainment.

i hope this makes the nba think twice about fixing games in favor of laker opponents. ppl might hate the lakers, but they apparently also LOVE hating the lakers.

don't you worry, though. the lakers have $ and room to sign some power, to lock up the weak spots at the point and power forward. gary payton? alonzo mourning? pj brown? i will laugh long and hard next year. :D
