wow. that was awesome. just came back from
neah's concert.
if i had left after jimmy, it would still have been well worth it. i just love hearing this brother. rejoice had me going. that jazzy feel puts the whole world to rest, and lets you reflect and say, "Jesus, you are the reason i rejoice."
i'm always surprised when little korean girls are able to produce so much volume. neah has a husky, soulful voice. her high end is also surpisingly well controlled, for that type of voice. songs were very, very good, well written. i was reminded of jeehye, and jewel.
koo was his regular awesome self. you KNOW this guy is going somewhere.
minnow: i just love watching this brother praise. there is no doubt in my mind: this brother LOVES to worship God. if you want to see unbridled joy in a man that loves God, come see this brother. the extent that he understands praise at his age is amazing.
paul: possibly the best drummer i have ever seen, live. so much control, such a great control of dynamics and feel for the rest of the band. he is the only drummer i've heard that does the off-beat slams off rolls so effectively, like i've envisioned in my head. i wish i could steal this man's talent.
at the end, just some simple worship. awesome.
i don't think i can lead praise for YG tomorrow. i can't, not after tonight. i'll just stick in the CD, put up the lyrics. STORM will like that, right? ;)
was able to catch up mr. freeze, TK, joe, steve. good travel with paul kim, esk, jiwon, and heidi. got my CD signed. ;)
life is good.

mom and dad are going to be away: going to yellowstone park in utah, and then california for nearly a month. i'm so jealous. i want to go with them...

tomorrow after service, going to jeehye's place. she has a ping-pong table. i'm pretty excited. excited to play some AHJUHSHIs, you know what i'm sayin'?! i hope they play with their wife-beaters on, so that i can slam and hear the satisfying slap of ping-pong ball on never-saw-sun white flesh.
