Bryant made an NBA-record 12 shots from 3-point range, including nine straight, in scoring 45 points.

"It's hard to describe," Bryant said of the feeling he had once he got hot. "You just feel so confident. You get your feet set and get a good look at the basket -- it's going in. Even the ones I missed I thought were going in."

He hung around in the zone for as long as he could, insisting on the basketball, 25 feet from the rim, hoisting shots, defended or not. At one point, Seattle's Rashard Lewis grabbed him and said, "All right, you proved your point. Leave it alone. Stop."

"The shots he took were shots you would want guys to take -- 3 or 4 feet behind the 3-point line with a hand in his face," Sonics coach Nate McMillan said. "He made five or six in a row ... nine in a row? Well, there you go. I don't think most guys can do that in a gym by themselves, let alone a game where you're being defended."

some might try to pretend to be humble, but not kobe. look at his posture, his tongue, his wide grin. if i was a laker-hater, i'd want to punch that smile off his face.

but since i am a laker fan, i will laugh openly at others and their repulsion to him. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
