    the voice of a woman

can the tone and quality of a woman's voice cause one to fall in love?

the infamous joe chen (i am starting to quote joe chen like johnny wheelwright quotes owen meany...) used to plug his ears with a pained expression and say, "so LOUD," whenever there was a energetic, vocal girl around. that was his way of saying, "DANG, that girl's voice is SO ANNOYING."

that an obnoxiously loud, tinny voice could be a repellent was no strange news to me. that a soft, elegant voice could be attractive is common sense.

but could a voice cause you to fall in love, all other factors aside (which is nearly an impossible thing obviously)?
sorry, that's not what i mean to ask. what i mean is, do we all have a specific tone or pitch that we are built to respond to? is each guy built to respond to a different quality of voice?

where guy A and B will think the voice of a girl is merely nice, but guy C will be irresistably drawn by the voice to the girl?

i'm not talking about just singing. (it is too easy for a girl to penetrate a guy's heart with her singing). i'm talking about a girl's normal talking voice.

maybe i'm not really asking any of you. maybe i'm telling you.
