medicine: wk 1, day 1

it was so painful to go in at 7:30am. i can't describe. the next 2 months of medicine are going to be so very, very ugly.

i kept falling asleep in front of attendings and residents. i answered many questions incorrectly. you know why rotations are so stressful?

it's like taking an oral final with no preparation, an exam that NEVER ENDS. it's just rockin' humilation after humiliation. for 12 hrs, every day.

yesterday, jimmy almost ran over two korean girls, while making a left turn. it was pretty scary. they were giving him the stare down.

i wanted to jump out and ask, "are you ok? you sure? here, let me give you my number just in case....maybe i should get your number, too?"
