i'm walking to go study today when a very cute girl walks by me. she looks like a good, nice girl. i stop walking, thinking thinking thinking.
    *DO SOMETHING!!*

i turn around, and she's walking away. ah, you missed the chance, dork. *run after her!* no. *DO IT!!!* no. too late. she's gone.

argh. why am i such a coward?

    ****
i'm in the library. there is yet another cute girl sitting 2 tables across from me. she has such nice hair, done in a ponytail, and her front locks make those wings at her temples before being tucked behind her ears.

she rests her head on her hand, and her gold band ring shines.

    doh.

HAHAHA sweet. Sounds like M-level jacob. You know what? Sometimes, girls just like wearing a gold ring on their left hand ring finger... and not because they have someone else ;)

    the main point:

girls are no better than guys, and they know it deep down.

girls go for "great personality", but that's also a very superficial thing, just as superficial as good looks. what if a guy comes off as gruff and unpleasant, but really is caring and selfless? most girls would dismiss him for being gruff and unpleasant.

but that aside, you have to admit that there are a lot of girls out there that care about how guys look and evaluate them upon that basis more than their personality. for example, that ideal of wanting a "tall dark and handsome" guy.

    an excellent example:

carol, you can be comforted by the fact that "cute" is a subjective term, and for every butt-ugly broken chick in the world, there is at least one guy who thinks she's "cute".

btw, maybe who jacob considers "cute" isn't cute to you and vice-versa. if that's the case, how can you criticise him? you won't even be talking about the same girls! unless you think your definition of "cute" is somehow objective. granted, there tends to be a consensus on who is and is not attractive, but it's not unanimous. it's still a subjective measure.

and what's the difference between a girl liking a guy for a "cute" personality and a guy liking a girl for a "cute" face?

and why do you call yourself "cutielorac"?

    dee, lorac:
i've said it before, and i'll say it again:

if there were some way to know everyone's personality right away, then, YEAH, it would be messed up if guys were simply going by looks. i WANT to know a girls personality right away. but it doesn't work like that. there are only SO many senses, and as much as i would like to go around sniffing girls, society has determined that inappropriate. oh, touching them to get to know them is wrong, too. and if they let me follow them, listening to them all day, i might do that. but that too, is social taboo.

see? so, we go by the sensory faculty we are left with: sight.

and no woman can look me in the eye and say that it is not the same with a woman.

tim's answer is actually an excellent answer. it's the TRUE answer. true for me, too. i'd be a stone if i didn't react the same way.

we all know what the ideal is. just wishing it so doesn't make it so.

    pika~ @ 11.03.pm | September 26, 2002

    that's a bad answer.

does that make the not cute girls feel any better?

nope. regardless of any answer, it's still wrong. and you guys stink cuz you think like that.

    tim @ 10.38.pm | September 26, 2002

when a guy sees a cute girl, everything inside him becomes alive, his hearts beating faster, he is just overcome by what he sees.

    that answer your question?

i can't wait until i'm your age.... in 2010/2011... my my... i never thouhgt jacob lee wouldbe the kind to hit on a girl on the street.. hmm.. makes you think...

wow~ you're rillie thinkin' bout this whole marriage thing, aren't you? i saw this episode of sex and the city once, where this guy was only obssessed about getting married and settling down, and contrary to popular belief... marrige is not the only thing girls think about. waiting for the guy to propose and all that junk. If a guy is too eager, it turns girls off!! they're like, wat does he want a green card or something?

y are looks so important anyway? y do you only focus on the cute girls?

girls on streets : what? [uh, ok, yakov... she's a cute girl, and she really looks nice... are you seriously saying this stuff out loud?]

=D lastly, left message on your voicemail. despite how it doesn't make much sense, can you check it and get back to me? grazie. =D

tim : 'hehehe. this is like instant messenger... but much slower.

as for the girl, eh. girls stink. they screw you over.

    I'm still bitter.'

actually, this entire discussion is entirely moot. as i've mentioned before, i would LOVE to get a nice guitar, but don't have that kind of cash.

    jacob= :(

will need SOME sort of substitute, tho.. need a acoustic-electric for youth group...

i agree with jacob... the taylors are definitely one of the most aesthetically-pleasing guitars out there... i absolutely love the headstock on their guitars... something about the way it's shaped just blows me away. yah.. i'm kinda weird like that.

i wasn't planning to BUY one at those mainstream stores, just to play it. and i have NO idea where i can go to find these guitars. manhattan doesn't have that great a selection. at least, not from what i've seen

the agape dudes, jimmy choi, you...
that's quite a list of endorsements. i'm intrigued, to be sure...

i'll ask around. if you hear of any place around here where i can try it out, let me know...

the LSE (lowden stage edition) looks pretty nice...

tim, went to the link. they look nice, but taylors look NICER. the only way i would get something else would be if the sound just BLEW ME OUT OF THE WATER
