another accident, just now, outside my window.

my dorm is right next to the FDR. the design of this stretch of the highway is such that there is a high frequency of accidents right out my window.

screeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! thunk!

at least 10X this past year. although the drivers are at fault to some point, it's not coincidence that there are more accidents in this elbow of the FDR than any other.

i'm a little upset at whoever designed it, and at the city for not fixing it. the police must surely know that this stretch gets more accidents. jb says i should report it to the safety commissioner. i didn't even know there WAS one.

anyway, it's just really nervewracking to be studying and suddenly hear the screech of tires and the inevitable thunk. even worse, when i hear that while playing ball. dang, don't these people know that interfering with ball is sacrilicious?!!
