Psych wk 2: day 10

medical student asked a resident: "what does alogia mean?"

resident: "A logos. without words. that means that a patient hardly speaks, or has difficulty speaking. you know, LOGOS. the WORD. in the beginning was the WORD." looks at us expectantly with an expression like, duh!!

blank looks from jewish and hindi student. me giggling like a madman in a corner because this christian resident made a reference to John 1:1 to a jewish and a hindi medical student. as if they should have understood.
