Psych wk2 day 9
imagine, if you will: seminar led by a big name in psychiatry. 25 of us in a conference room. i decide that i want to absorb this man's wisdom, and sit right next to him.
i absorbed his wisdom, all right. i also absorbed his kicking breath. whooo eeee!!!! i was reminded of dhalsim, from the street fighter video game, because dude, he was projecting that breath like i could not believe or comprehend. i kept wondering, is it possible to get it to kick out that far? i mean, scientifically, how is the stench still able to REACH me? and then i wondered, if it's so bad for me, who's a good distance away, how is he able to stand his own breath, since he sure can't run away from it? i've had my bad mornings, like other ppl, i'm sure, but wow. this was out of this world.
the whole 1.5 hrs, i was slowly inching my chair back, to avoid being in the direct line of fire. 1/4 inch at a time, careful not to move too fast, for fear of causing a noticeable squeak. by the end of the conference, i was a good 3.5 ft away from him. it was an act of high concentration, lemme tell you.
i wanted to say, "excuse me, sir? are you aware of the extreme halitosis you have?" but i would guess that would kill my grade. look at me compromising my character for a grade. it's sickening.

i'm on call tonight, which means that i'm staying until 4pm, when i will switch over to the psych ER, which gets nonstop crazy action, until midnight. yaay!
