  • I am not a slimy old man
    Saturday, November 17

There is something that happened a number of times recently that is bothering me. It goes something like this.

I will be talking with a young female who happens to be wearing some halter-top thingy that is supposedly showing cleavage ("supposedly" because usually this is an asian girl) with a thin button sweater over it.

Mind you, I am looking at the girl's face as I am talking to her, I swear. I'm not a boobs person, as anyone who knows me personally will attest to. I'm strictly a legs (and ankles) guy. So I take it a little personally when during our conversation, the girl pulls in the edges of her sweater closer, as if to cover the peep show.

    What the hell.

First of all, YOU put the show out there for everyone to see, so don't be offended if people were to look. (and why would it be ok for some other random guy to look, and not me? is there something worse about ME looking? what is that all about?!) Second of all, I DIDn'T look, and I don't even have a desire to look. (I mean, if it were something particularly impressive, I admit, I would be tempted, but I sure wouldn't try to sneak a peek while TALKING to you. Jeez, how stupid would that be.)

I would usually attribute this cover-up action to the recent cold, except that these situations usually occur indoors, where it is warm.

I don't like being made to feel like a lecherous, slimy old man when I didn't do anything. SO STOP IT.

Next time that happens, you should say, "what exactly are you trying to cover up, ms. molehill?"

Just kidding do not say that.

at least you're doing ophtho... what if you have to intently listen to her heart (esp the apex), and feel for the PMI.
