my new favorite player - gilbert arenas

Point guard Gilbert Arenas, wearing a road jersey, blue sweats and a headband instead of street clothes, sat out his eighth straight game yet still found a way to hurt his team from the bench. He was called for two technical fouls and ejected with 1.4 seconds left in the first quarter after saying something to official Bernie Fryer.

who gets 2 Ts and is ejected without even playing a single minute?

this is the same guy who got mad when teammate antawn jameson said arenas was shooting too much, so arenas didn't take shoot for an ENTIRE GAME. just kept passing and passing. until his team was down by a large margin, which prompted his coach to scream out, "SHOOT!" to arenas in the 4th quarter. arenas then went on to gun it in the 4th, and win the game.

said an ex-teammate: "gilbert is an enigma, even to himself."

HAHAHA

i am often tempted to take this pass-only approach myself, but i don't have the discipline. :( what can i say, i'm a shooter. :D
