got back from j 24:7. 4 day retreat.
awesome.
i will write pages and pages about the retreat at some later time. i took copious notes during the entire retreat. i guess i really am turning into a journalist. someone who keeps a journal, i mean, not a newpaper person.

i lost my voice sometime during the 2nd day of the retreat. it didn't help that i let 'er rip anyway during everything. when i open my mouth to talk, a wierd raspy whistling sound comes out instead. it's kinda cool, except that even that sound comes and goes, so that there just seems to be words missing in my speech.

awesome eats:
there's this place that sells fried dumplings, 5 for $1, and fried pork buns, 4 for a $1. dude, tastes good, and CRAZY cheap. i feel like i stumbled on some ancient secret that only chinese people are privvy to.
