call on sunday / ruminations /

being on call on sunday is perhaps the worst thing i have gone thru. not because of the workload. just feeling like this is taking over my life. sundays should not be invaded by anything. not only is the Lord's day invaded, having call on sunday seems to weld the two weeks together, as if there was no weekend. wait, there WAS no wkend.

today, woke up late. wouldn't have woken up at all, had it not been for the construction outside. didn't have time to take shower. so grubby. so nasty. just brushed, flipped on clothes, and sprinted.

*** has the craziest hair i've ever seen in my life. you wouldn't be able to get this hair if you tried. it is like 10 different planes going in different directions. craziness. he's good-looking, a nice guy, very serious about his work, but i'm tempted to laugh in his face when he's talking to me.

    good convos. good convos.

    kobe update
i was twitching with embarassment. to get 40 points in the way he did was sad. not only did he miss his last 6, but he got 40 because rashard committed a senseless foul, as if doing kobe a favor to reach 40. it would have been sad but terribly funny if the lakers had lost. even kobe knew it was pretty sad. he had to apologize to his teammates afterwards. the drama goes on. he got razed for it in the media, of course.

the weird thing: every single article praised ray allen for his strong performance, in which he shot 33%, while ripping kobe, who shot 38%. i think it is the WAY he does it.
