7:15pm-9:00pm - had dinner with the 4th years that are leaving. elias hsu, jacob chung, tim wong, sue kim, vinny. man, am i going to miss them. after tomorrow, i won't be able to go down to the 2nd floor, to just talk and chill with them. it's so strange. NYU med is not going to be the same.

9:30pm-1:30pm - didn't want to ball today, because i'm trying to be disciplined for the boards, but, david, my younger brother, came down for the weekend. a chance to ball with my brothers is something i can't pass up. boards or no.

david, my younger brother, is graduating from yale next week. i'm pretty proud of him. he has the courage to think beyond the typical professions that most korean guys limit themselves to, and really look within himself, see what he wants to do, and then go for it.

he wants to be a screenwriter. it's a tough field, there are millions of ppl out there who just want to get their script read, but somehow, i know that david will be successful. simply because i believe that he is a talented kid, and i believe that his talent will shine through all the nonsense that is out there. i'm sure it's not going to be easy for him, and it will be some lean years before he gets any of his stuff read by someone who matters. but it will happen, i'm sure of it. he can always sleep over at my place, and hang out, until he makes it.

david's really lucky. he's got two older brothers who always WANTED to be doctors (my parents were always pretty chill about letting us choose our own paths), and so he's got a lot of leeway to take his time and make things happen.

i read his first script last night. it's pretty darn good. if it gets into the right hands, you will all see it on the big screen.

we have a deal amongst the three brothers. first one to a million has to buy all the others a nice car. a mercedes SLK or equivalent in value. funny thing is, we all like the SLK and the porshe boxter, without ever really discussing it together. i guess we all think alike in many aspects. methinks jimmy and i will hit it first, but who knows? if david gets his script read, he might first.

    *******
david an i have been chatting about how we've been doing, etc. i heard some of his experiences in yale, and i've come to a hilarious conclusion: jimmy might have a girlfriend, but man, dave and i are absolute orangutans bumbling about, when it comes to girls. he might even be worse than me. i don't think i intimidate and scare them unintentionally like he does.

enough of this nonsense. i was relatively good this weekend, and didn't blog that much. maybe there IS hope...

tomorrow, i'm going to study with Paul Kim, my pal from Mt. Sinai. hopefully, we'll push each other to study more, and get back on pace.
