oe and i went to meet with some of her friends. when we approached the table, oe raised her hand and yelled out, "hi!"

several of them raised their hands in greeting, and yelled out, "hi!" in return.

when we reached the table, there was some confusion, because i didn't recognize any of the ppl there, and when i turned to oe, i realized she didn't either.

i guess we should've apologized and gracefully made our exit, but i broke out into peals of laughter as i pointed at her, and then somehow stumbled my way away from the table.

on 33rd st, btwn park and lex, 3 homeless guys have made a mini-condo made of mattresses and cardboard boxes. it is a pretty well-constructed shelter. the walls on either edge keeps out the wind, and the area is warmed by the subway underneath.

everytime i walk by, the 3 lay next to each other, cuddled together.

i'm sure this is the furthest thing from their minds, but it looks kinda cute...
