the all star game
while all the nba players are talking about wanting jordan to take a starting spot, or feeding him the ball so that he'll end up with MVP of his final all-star game, i know for a FACT, that there will be one person who will not try to make michael jordan look good: kobe bryant.

in fact, i think kobe will take this special opportunity to ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK jordan. kobe knows that all eyes and cameras will be on jordan. that means millions of eyes and cameras will capture kobe picking jordan apart. the consequence will be a lasting image of kobe's brilliance, athleticism, and quickness. or so he thinks.

kobe knows that the world wants jordan to do well in this last game. what he doesn't know is that the world can't be objective about this game of basketball. they have been in love with jordan too long. they will hate kobe for attacking jordan. for guarding jordan so tightly. for scoring 30 points on him. if last year's all-star game made philly hate kobe, this year's all-star game will get the whole world (aside from LA)to hate him.

"On his team I'm sure the guys are going to be feeding him the ball. I'm sure Michael doesn't want us to come out and loaf around. He doesn't want handouts,'' Bryant said. "He wants us to be competitive and play just as hard against him as any other player.''

he's speaking completely straight, as he thinks. straight from the heart. he's all fire and competition, as jordan is also. jordan WILL want to win MVP, the old school way, and win it without any gimmees. and kobe is going to do his darnest to shut jordan down and take the spotlight himself.

i love this game.
