dream (it's been a while since i've had a dream. when i work, i don't dream. or, i don't remember my dream. last night, however, though i had only 4 hrs of sleep, i had a short dream that repeated over and over again...)

i am in a library with jc, to study. just like the good old days. all our gear ready. 10 different colored jellyroll pens, 4 highlighters. bottle of mountain dew. the default in college was to play and mess around, so when we decided to study, it was a big endeavor.

this library, however, is strange to me. the ceiling, was low. too low. as if we were underground. dark mahagony all over. dusty books. the tables are dark, wide, and beautiful. we pass by a group of students, and try to minimize the disturbance we bring with us.

we find a table, and set our respective study spaces up. things have to be JUST right.

i leave to go to the bathroom.

i return, after a extensive period of time seemed to have passed. the section of the library where we were was closed. i start to panic, thinking of my books. for the test i will take tomorrow. my heart races, and my legs carry me around the remaining sections of the library...

... and then i see jc, smiling at me. he had moved all my stuff for me. and set it up the way i had it before. a wash of relief comes over me.
