dream i am in a large house (roughly put together, like a cabin) in a wooded area. during the evening, there had been multiple arguments amongst the adults. i don't know what the arguments were about. sometime during the night, i woke to see smoke curling around the cheap curtains. fire! fire! i yelled out. father, mother, and my sister (this was when i realized that i was not me in my dream) jumped out of bed to help put out the flames. several minutes later, we heard a commotion in other areas of the house. all the families met in the large communal room. grim faces were streaked wtih sweat and ashes. they understood, now, that their battle wasn't with one another. "it's from outside," someone muttered. "there is someone outside." heads nodded slowly. ppl here were slow to learn. dreamshift i woke up early in the morning, and got dressed quiety. i got my stuff ready and went outside. a little while later, my sister came and joined me. no words. we grabbed out things and headed out. we trekked out of our valley and to the lake. we wanted to catch something. a shark! my sister whispered gleefully. an eel! i answered. we had never gone fishing before, but that was no deterrent. we were confident and happy, and that was all that mattered. some hours later, we had caught nothing, and we were getting tired. still, it had been fun. on our walk back, we ran into a nice ahjuhmma. we talked with her for a bit, told her that we lived in that house in the valley. she smiled and walked us to our home. when we got home, we ran in and told our parents (not my real parents, just like my sister was not my sister. i don't have a sister) about her. to my great surprise, my father (not my real father) got really upset. he stormed outside and began to speak angrily to her. she spoke back indignantly, but did not yell as he did. i was stunned and upset. my morning, which had been so happy a little while ago, was ruined. /dream yakob at 2:15 PM |
