Lebron James
Just saw him play. that he can pass and flush the ball, there is no doubt. that he will be able to play in the nba, i don't doubt. is he on the level of kobe, t-mac and KG? i don't think so. he's not nearly polished enough. i saw tapes of kobe in hs, and he was much more explosive and smooth with his shot. positives: james has great court vision and is relatively unselfish with the ball, considering his level of play above his teammates. his body is developed already. he was truly like a man playing amongst little boys. good handle. good finisher. can really run the break. (in fact, i can only think of one player, jason kidd, who can push the ball like he does, on a break) negatives: has a nasty looking outside shot. will it smooth out over time? he is, after all, only 17. still, this is a must in the nba. the ultimate question is, does he have the mentality of kobe? the drive to continue to work hard on each of his weaknesses, the drive to WIN? yakob at 9:53 PM |
