i'm back from my dental visit. it was a cavity on my 19th tooth. (left lower) i wanted C. to pass very badly, so i tried not to yell when he hit my nerve, and when blood started to spurt out, but... hahaha. jk.

the C did a very good job. took his time, checked and double checked, and i'm pretty sure he passed.

i was able to see everything that he was doing, by the reflection on his glasses, so that was pretty cool. the drill (more like a mini-saw, i think) made interesting sounds, just like a round circular saw, when it gets stuck on wood. the smell of burning tooth...ah, there is nothing quite like it.

i was impressed by Chris' steady hands, his calm and poise. i've would've been shaking, i think, if i were him. but he was quite the cool cat. he will be a great dentist.
