    O MY GOODNESS!!!
    That was the CRAZIEST GAME!!!!

Reggie Miller made a miracle shot to tie it in regulation, so the Nets/Pacers went into overtime, where the Pacers got an early lead due to more of Reggie's antics before Kenyon Martin made some clutch plays to give the Nets the lead. Then, Reggie, instead of going for a three, drives and dunks on two Nets. Can you believe that? I've only seen Reggie dunk several times in my life, and only on wide open shots. He NEVER dunks during playoffs, and in a clutch situation. That was just sick. In the 2nd overtime, Jason Kidd just took over, demanding the ball and taking ill-advised shots, yet making them. That he so desperately wanted to go into the second round was evident. Man, that was just pure willpower, imposed onto the entire game, both on offense and defense, willing the Nets towards victory.

It was a battle between two forces, each rising above everyone else and the game itself. It was a matter of who wanted it more. My voice is hoarse from screaming and shouting. Unbelievable. This season would not have been a real season without a game like this. I am so happy for the Nets. First time into the 2nd round since 1984. Can you believe that? That's how long they had to wait. What an insane game. Basketball is crazy. This is why I say, the most important thing in life is God, then there is basketball. Then there is family, then friends. I love this game. A little orange ball. Changes lives, forges bonds between friends, and brings nations together. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

I'm somehow going to have to calm myself and study before I go to bed early. Early morning appointment as the test subject for a 4th yr dental student's boards. It will be an adventure. Wow. What a night.
