lakers 103, portland 96 - the entire lakers team put rueben patterson to shame. kobe scored on him at will, and other lakers swatted a few of his shots, giving him nothing, even if he is just the 6th or 7th man on the team. patterson just turned out to be a scrub with a loud mouth.
the other blazers were pretty frustrated, too, constantly fouling and bickering. dale davis was kicked out with 2 technical fouls, pippen fouled out, bonzi fouled out, and wallace was so very close. kobe chewed pippen up, and let the world know that pippen was washed up.
the only thing impressive about he blazers was 'sheed's skills. that boy can play. he's a beast in the post, no one can stop him, and he shot the 3 well. he needs to step up for the blazers to get a game. overall, the tone of the game was of the lakers dominating early, then coasting, taking a victory for granted, while the blazers lost their spirit early. i don't think they will recover in this series.
