surgery: wk1, day 5

! ! ! ! such a surprise in my chair when i came home ! ! ! !





stitch.

i LOVE stitch. because he's not your typical cuddly, cute disney character. i was actually expecting a cute cuddly guy, so i was blown out of the water when he turned out to be crazy, out of control, very destructive, and quite violent. and here's the funny thing: he didn't become this incredibly loveable object. he was sTILL crazy by the end of the movie. you gotta love it.

so i wanted to add him to my collection of favorite stuffed animals (currently composed of bartok the bat "wow, i tell you what, wow!" the wandering eyes squirrel from ice age, and two soft polar bears. just need to get 50 3-eyed aliens from toy story, and my collection will be well on it's way), but all the ones i saw in stores and online were really lame. stitch with mouth closed, looking all calm and stuff. just didn't catch the SPIRIT of stitch, you know?

but this. wow. perfect. thank you. i shouldn't accept it, but he's too adorable, so i will.

today: wild run of straight back to back surgeries from 7:30am to 6:30pm. WAAAAY too intense. the surgeon didn't eat all day. she took a leak ONCE during the entire day. amazing. i'm not sure if i'm up for this. standing up the entire day is painful.

got out asap to go to YG STORM. like an oasis after today's load.

today's bible study topic was on the Holy Spirit. it was such a big topic to study. even stretched out over a month, it would be a long, intense discussion. but good to get our teeth on, nonetheless.

went to prayer mtg afterwards. i just needed to pray. and now...

i'm tired. bed time. extended coma time.
