jono, meesh, and olivia (new friend!) came up.
such a good time. i didn't know meesh that well, and olivia i just met. but it was if we had been buddies for a long time.
some of the activities:
bar 89: we went for what else? the clear bathroom doors that fog up when you close em. yours truly had a strawberry sundae. :D
then to han bat for suhl-long tang. came home late, yakked with jono till 5am about life, love, and other mysteries.
window shopping in soho, west village. i basically bought nothing, and was astounded by the prices. i can't believe clothes cost so much. unless i am european, a model, or japanese (oh MAN, that sounds racist. but you walk the streets yourself, and you tell me if i exaggerate).
dim sum at golden unicorn. YUMMMMMY!!!! i LOVE dim sum!!!
melon shredded ice at ten ren. :D
hawaiian rib-eye steak at houston's steakhouse. oooohhh... outside was crispy, FLAVORFUL, and the inside melted. i can't describe. GOOD steak.
ok, so obviously, the wkend was full of good food.
but, the most valuable part: quality time with jono. this is just a brother that i love. and i know that he loves me. i can ask him to do anything for me, and i believe he will do it.
plus making new friends. plus, getting to know someone i've known for a long time, for the first time (SB). these lives are amazing. i feel like God is opening me, helping me to relate to people better, giving me a heart to CARE. friendship is wonderful. still more, because it is also kinship.
