played ball from 9:30pm to 1am:

on one play, guy A drove into the lane, jumped into the air, was caught with nowhere to go, and decided to pass the ball to player B, who was 2 feet in front of him.

instead of a normal soft pass, player A decided to bring the ball back, and sling it underhand. the ball shot off with considerable force, and nailed player B in the crotch.

we all heard a weird "pop," and player B dropped on the ground. moments later, everyone else dropped also, laughing. we should have asked if B was ok, but it was too funny. i was laughing especially hard because that underhand sliing pass is what I typically do. i also get a lot of heat about it, because it is hard to handle, though very effective. so it was doubly funny that someone ELSE did it, and even funnier that there was a guy felled by that pass into the crotch.

mayhem for a while.
