    WOW. what a day.
i ran thru a bunch of songs, and learned a couple of new ones with the aid of downloaded songs, and posted songs

dave came to stay with me in the afternoon

went to the Wake up, NY with A (the other guys bailed out on us...) JUST me and A....whoo hoo!! kinda like a DATE, huh? haha. no, not really...we had a good time yapping on the way and back.

so, turns out the ten shekel shirt bailed on the event, which stinks. i heard ben give a message; he is definitely improved in his delivery from when i last heard him. it was quite a powerful message. there was a group that played afterwards, small team of 4, and man, those dudes rocked. i mean, SERIOUSLY rocked. it's been a while since i heard a worship team like that. history maker. oh man, what a greeaat song. i had forgotten how moving and inspiring it is.

and while i was there, i think i made a MINNOW sighting!! i'm not sure if that's his exact name, or if that's the proper way to spell it. koo chung came to play at remnant in the concert series set up by the MAIN MAN jae ko, and koo brought this kid minnow (sp?). this kid (i think he's 18 or something) sang a solo at one point, and oh MY! it was one of THE BEST fast praise songs i've ever heard, i kid you NOT. (praise leaders know what a big deal this is) i mean, this kid is incredible. i'm pretty sure it was him i saw. was in a rush, so couldn't say hi, me and aileen had to bail to make the subway back into the city (NY Presbyterian is in queens) for worship practice at 10. but, everything that could go wrong, DID go wrong. we just missed the R, and waited a long time for the next one. when i transferred to the 6, it suddenly became an express, so i had to get off at 42, then sprinted down to 29th st, where church is, in the rain. i finally got there at 11pm, a full hour late. they were still going, so it was cool, but i feel really bad for missing the beginning, esp as this was one of the first mtgs for this new praise team.

got back to my dorm at 12:30, ate a quick bite, then pal from college, WHUP and joe were online, and we set up our own domain. soon, my blog and other things will be on my own domain. exciting!

also, i got to chat with ANNA!!! close friend during freshman yr, we did so much together, hung out and yakked away late into the night, with the entire BAKER crew: steve, victor, anna, joe, me, and sometimes albert. those were mad fun days. also probably one of the last times i hung out significantly with non-christians. probably one of my biggest mistakes was not keeping up with those friends whom i cared about very much. i let my SERVICE for the LORD get in the way of actually doing what Jesus tells us to do. loving my neighbors, including my close pals that weren't in the christian circle. i regret that very much.

gotta shower, then head over the JH. i'm gonna spend the night with him, else i'm afraid i won't be able to wake up in time. i'm sporting my LAKERS jersey tomorrow. keep an eye out for it. it's gonna cause some ruckus, i can tell. YEAH, JAE KO, IT IS A LAKERS JERSEY, and don't you DARE to bring in any sad KINGS stuff to church!!! HAHA!!
another very big deal. when i got in, i got a PACKAGE!!! whoo, always exciting. turns out to be a care package from my dear sister JJ, who is all the way in OHIO, but sent such a loving package to me, for when i'm studying for my boards. thank you so much, JJ!!

also, while i'm mentioning thanks, mucho thanks to my sis LORAC, who gave me care packages during finals to sustain me. thanks, sistas!!!

man, what have i done that God would bless me with such wonderful friends??!!!

    THANK YOU, GOD!!!!!!!!!!
