    LAKERS SWEPT THE BLAZERS
i knew it would happen, but tonight was just ridiculous. the lakers played lackadaisically, just knowing that they would win. kobe calmly drained a three to keep hope alive, then horry, the perrinial playoff glory monger, also hit a three for the lead. amazing. it looks as though the lakers will not lose a single game, and definitely not a series.

played our regular weekly ball at cornell med from 8:30pm till 2 am. i'm drained, i have nothing left in me. i started cramping near the end, and i know i will wake up during my sleep tonight with cramps in my quads and hamstrings. it's happened many times before, after sunday ball. if i move my leg, just a little too far, the whole bundle of muscle will suddenly contract, yanking my leg. the hamstring is the most painful, and it's hard to straighten out. all i can do is grit my teeth and pray. if i try to stretch it, it just feels like i'm tearing my muscle. it's not a fun experience. my dad tells me to bite my arm and let blood run out when i get cramps like that, but i don't know...that doesn't sound medically sound to me...

one of the guys had to run back, because he left his bag back at the gym. poor dude. it reminded me of similar brainless things i've done, like when i searched my apartment looking for my glasses, when i had them in my left hand. or the time i woke up to find the world a blur. i thought i had gone blind, and panicked. while my heart was in my mouth, i reached to pull of my glasses, and realized the reason for my blurry vision: grease from my face had covered the lenses when pressed against my face while sleeping. silly, right? but man, i was genuinely scared.

i'm so tired. time to shower and sleep.
