i had a mtg with PP. i went in kinda stressed with a lot on my mind, and i came out in peace. to be honest, i was surprised. i didn't really expect such openness/straighforwardness/concern for ME. and certainly not from one of the pastors, who are always busy and have so much important things to take care of.i don't know. i guess i'm not used to it, nor do i expect it anymore.

but i came out with a much clearer mind and peaceful heart. i'm very grateful for PP, and also that God always provides such people in my life. i'm very blessed to have such a person that i can be accountable to. because i'm the type of person that needs it. haha.

an amazing thing happened. although i am a member of friendster, friendster hasn't really done anything special for me. in fact, i was a little disappointed in it. it seemed more like a way to boast and number your friends (does it remind anyone of king david wanting a census of his people, or is it just me?) than anything else. although i HAVE been amused and blessed by some of the testimonials.

i gnerally keep in touch with my college friends through occasional get-togethers, email, im, calls, etc, and with my hs friends through im and blogging (check out their alcoholics page on the right. esp if any of you want to go to southern california and want to know what socal life is about. man, are THEY living it up... such a contrast to my own life....)

so, friendster itself hasn't really done anything for me, UNTIL i got a message from a guy i haven't seen in ... i don't know how long. SAM came over from Korea when i was in elementary school or something, and dude, was he a TOTAL FOB. very very different. we became friends. i remember playing video games at his house (cause my parents sure as heck wasn't going to buy ME an nintendo), playing baseball with only 4 people (it's really difficult), and other fun stuff together. we had good times.

over the years, we lost touch, but now i got this message from him. he is MARRIED, AND HAS 2 KIDS. TWO KIDS. WOW. he has a complete family already. such craziness. i have a big smile on my face right now, imagining him with his family.
