YAKOB's LADDER lovely, lovely couple. it was a pleasure to be a groomsman. i particularly enjoyed the chapel. it was very cosy and cute. everyone had a good view of the couple. And I liked Pastor Billy very much. even from the rehearsal, he was getting everyone to relax, get strong spiritual grounding, etc, etc. he was very good at knowing what bride and groom are going through, and addressing those things, calming everyone down. all the things i would like to have at MY wedding. i was doing well, holding back until i saw ed's mom. i have to avoid looking at parents during weddings. they really wreck you. probably the best thing i remember will be the taboo the night before. the hero: GP. :TABOO: GP: i like a man with a big... * howls and cackles* from both teams JP: i know, i know. you don't have to tell them... GP: no, no! that's not what i meant! GP: ...it is my prayer request ... at this point, it was absolute chaos. i don't think i've laughed and cried this much in a while. who knew that so much fun could be derived from the words, "beer belly?" well, the result of our loss is that we had to do a ridiculous dance for ed and jeanhee. ack. i hope that memory will be purged from my mind soon. edmund is now a man. i'm happy for him. :) yakob at 10:32 PM |
